GUIDED KENTUCKY BOURBON TOURS BY BOB WHITE
About Kentucky Guides
After a decade of reporting for small Kentucky newspapers, Bob White contracted as a guide and driver for a Louisville tour company in 2011. He grew to love it, and the Bourbon Trail ® was taking off.
Tourism screeched to a halt with the pandemic shutdowns of 2019-2020, but there’s always history and science to discuss, and sites to show to visitors. Bourbon had not shut down, so that's when Bob set off to found Kentucky Guides LLC.
“There are always options,” he says, “But you need to know what those options are.”
Now, with 13 years of experience guiding visitors around Kentucky Distilleries, horse farms, cities, rivers, and small towns, Bob’s product is his experienced background. He’s not just a driver & vehicle, nor just a concierge.
Our guided tours are customized to the wants and needs of each unique group.
We do have our favorite destinations, but guests usually have must-sees of their own to include. Together, we build the ideal tour for their group.
Kentucky Guides limits groups to 12 or fewer. Smaller groups are nimble, making impromptu stops, and last-minute adjustments possible. Less is truly more when it comes to quality guided tours.
Our 12-passenger mini-bus is also ADA-accessible with a wheelchair lift. Our 2019 Dodge Caravan is perfect for groups of 5 or less.
Kentucky Guides offers a step-on guide service for larger groups and motor coaches for groups interested in learning more about Bourbon Country, the City of Louisville, or the small towns of Bardstown & Frankfort.
